Overdam Calamagrostis Grass

Calamagrostis Overdam forms beautiful clumps of arching leaves that enhance the landscape from May to Winter. The leaves are of medium width and variegated with green edges and a white center. It is similar to Avalanche except that there is more green in the leaves. Flowers are carried above the foliage on 4- to 5-foot stalks in June and July, and will usually remain intact and upright into winter. Grows in full sun if kept watered but prefers some shade. Use in the garden as a border anchor, as a low screen, or as a backdrop for roses or other bedding plants. Excellent in arrangements. Medium growth rate.
