Big Daddy Hosta

Immense blue-green leaves can grow up to a foot long, and are heavily textured with patterns on the frosty surface for unique garden interest. Clusters of the softest lavender flowers rise on strong 4’ scapes in July, filling the garden with a subtle, sweet fragrance. ‘Big Daddy’ hosta is also one of the most versatile – use it in mixed shade beds, as a border or foundation planting, as a focal point in the shade garden, even in containers. Carefree plants grow 2’ high and spread 2-3’ wide, producing layer upon layer of garden delight.
