Tulip humilis comes originally from the southern Caucasus mountains and Iran, the area that used to be called Persia. This is a dwarf variety that blooms in very early spring, often while snow is still on the ground. The bright pink flowers have a yellow center and sweet scent. It is a perfect combined with white pansies and yellow crocus.
