Deeply striated leaves of glossy grey-green stand out in the shade garden – plant it en masse for a beautiful carpet of easy-care color. Hosta Fortunei ‘Hyacinthina’ grows in casual mounds, reaching up to 2’ high and wide. Fragrant light violet flowers appear late in summer, on strong stems that are perfect for bouquets. Though a shade lover, this stunning hosta will tolerate some sun – use it in a low border or edge planting and you’ll be delighted with the effect.
