We have this bold beauty planted in large clumps along our veranda and sun gardens at Fordhook Farm. Every new visitor that walks through invariably asks, What is that? I want it! The ultimate low-maintenance showstopper, with stalks that quickly shoot to 8 feet and launch rockets of lemon yellow 2-inch blooms for three solid months. Just plant in full sun and stand back.
