A new melon that leaves no doubt when to harvest!
Instead of having to determine if the fruit is ready to “slip” from the vine, the rind turns a distinct dark yellow. Pick at this first ripe stage and the flesh is crisp and sweet, reminiscent of a Canary melon. You can also choose to let some stay on the vine for another week or two to enjoy softer and juicier Charentais-type fruits. Delicious either way!
