Ideal for short-season areas.
This Burpee bred melon is ideal for areas with short growing seasons, and it’s our best early cantaloupe, bearing longer than any other melon in our trials. It has firm, bright salmon flesh that is sweet and juicy; the fruits are round to oval, 4″ by 5″, slightly ribbed with corky netting and a small seed cavity. The vigorous, productive plants bear 6-8 melons each and resist powdery mildew.
