Ft. Laramie Everbearer Strawberry Plants
Produces big crops of plump and juicy berries. Ft. Laramie produces many runners and is disease resistant. Reliable plants with especially sweet and fragrant berries to enjoy in jams, jelly or fresh off the vine. Excellent in hanging baskets. Works best in the colder areas of the United States. Winter hardy. Plant both Everbearers and Junebearers to enjoy fresh strawberries all summer long. To avoid flowering and fruiting stress on young plants, flower buds should be removed in the first year. Removal of flowers will allow the plants to direct their energy toward establishing a root system and developing a healthy, large leaf canopy to fuel next year’s crop.
